Made a french omelette for the first time the other day. A bit undercooked, but it was still what I wanted - buttery, fluffy, and bright. Some mozzarella cheese and herbs de provence, the purple of the lavender.
On a different day, veggie burritos. So much faster to make now, and they were delicious. I brought one for my mom and sister, and they liked it a lot. My mom actually finished it, a great compliment.
Before we left for the trip, pasta primavera with peas and good spices.
One night, roasted chickpeas with chili spices and a bit of shredded cheese in a small brown bowl.
I take comfort in our known foods.
